Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - School-Based
Elementary School | 42-Week Contract | 37.5 Hours/Week /
MILTON , WA
We are seeking an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support elementary students in a school setting. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the COTA will provide direct therapy services, implement treatment plans, document student progress, and support students in achieving their educational and functional goals.

Key Responsibilities
-
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Provide direct therapy services to students in educational settings.
-
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
-
Assist with assessments and collection of standardized assessment data.
-
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, support staff, and families to promote student success.
-
Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-regulation, and functional skills necessary for school participation.
Qualifications
-
Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license/certification in the state of practice.
-
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
-
Minimum of 2 years of school-based experience required .
-
Pediatric experience preferred.
-
Ability to work independently with limited OT supervision when necessary.

Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
