The Data Center OSP Project Manager leads and coordinates outside plant fiber construction projects within large‑scale data center environments. This role is responsible for guiding field operations from planning through closeout, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within approved financial targets.
The Project Manager acts as the central point of accountability for crews, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of fiber and low‑voltage systems, the ability to manage multiple workstreams, and a hands‑on leadership style that supports both operational performance and team development.
In addition to managing construction activities, the role involves oversight of documentation, cost control, scope management, and customer collaboration to deliver high‑quality results and long‑term value.

Skills and Requirements
-High school diploma or GED
-Valid driver’s license
-Current DOT medical card
-Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in low‑voltage or fiber construction environments
-Direct experience supporting data center projects involving fiber optics, structured cabling, networking, DAS, security, or fire alarm systems
-Working knowledge of outside plant fiber construction methods and standards
-Ability to read, interpret, and execute work based on construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
-Comfortable using computers, tablets, and electronic field systems
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and -PowerPoint
-Basic working capability in Bluebeam for plan review and markups
-Strong understanding of safety compliance requirements, including OSHA standards
-Ability to manage crews through training, oversight, and performance accountability
-Experience tracking project costs, reviewing budgets, and monitoring financial performance
-Strong communication skills for coordinating with customers, crews, and internal teams
