Job Description

Job Title: Associate Consultant, Geology
Location: 1000 Atrium Way, Suite 40, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054
Duties: Construct 3D geological conceptual site models and groundwater flow models, and associated datasets for site remediation and energy projects. Perform site investigations and characterizations, including drilling and monitoring well installation oversight using drilling methods such as, hollow stem auger, rotosonic, air and mud rotary, HQ rock coring, and CMT well installation, and rock and soil characterization; borehole visualization and characterization via downhole geophysical methods; monitor groundwater using long-term pressure transducers and telemetry instruments; and sample various media such as groundwater and soil. Work with software such as ArcGIS Pro, Rockworks, and Groundwater Vistas to construct 3D geological and groundwater flow models. Work with data presentation and analyses software such as EQUIS Enterprise, Microsoft Office Suite, and Dips.
Salary: $71,323.20 per year plus standard benefits. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Geology or a closely related field plus six (6) months of experience as a Geologist or related field (Internship experience accepted), which must include: Preparing maps and performing spatial data visualization and analysis using ArcGIS Pro; Performing field sampling in compliance with health and safety standard (OSHA / MSHA), developing data management using SQL programming, and updating 2D and 3D geological models using software such as Hexagon’s MineSight and AutoCAD; and Conducting laboratory testing and geochemical data analysis (e.g., from XRF, XRD, ICP-OES) using statistical tools such as Python, R, and Excel.
