Structural Steel Welder

What You'll Do

As a Structural Steel Welder, you will:

Weld plates to beams and columns used in major commercial and industrial construction projects.

Perform Flux-Core (FCAW) and MIG welding on structural steel components, including rails and stair assemblies.

Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.

Measure and verify materials using tape measures and other inspection tools.

Ensure all welds meet quality, safety, and structural standards.

Contribute to projects that help shape skylines and communities across the country.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

At least 1 year of MIG welding and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) experience.

Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and weld symbols.

Strong measurement skills and proficiency using a tape measure.

Commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience welding structural steel in a fabrication environment.

Welding school or technical training.

Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing clean, accurate welds.

Work Environment

You'll work in a large-scale steel fabrication facility where teamwork, quality, and safety are top priorities. Every day brings new challenges as you help manufacture structural steel components for projects of varying size and complexity.

Schedule

1st Shift

Monday - Thursday: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Friday: 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Consistent 49-hour work weeks

This is a Permanent position based out of New Richmond, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
