Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20 - $26 / hour*

What you'll be doing as an Inventory Control Specialist:

  • Track Stock: Monitor incoming and outgoing inventory

  • Audit Inventory: Conduct regular physical cycle counts to reconcile inventory records with system records

  • Resolve Discrepancies: Investigate the root causes of missing, damaged, or misplaced stock

  • Manage Replenishment: Partner with the procurement team to establish reorder points and forecast demand

  • Control Quality: Inspect incoming shipments for defects, damage, and expiration dates

  • Optimize Space: Organize warehouse inventory layouts to maximize storage efficiency

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Data-Driven: Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyze stock turnover

  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy when tracking hundreds of SKUs

  • Great Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and buyers

  • Physically Fit: Ability to stand for extended periods

  • Education: High school diploma required; a degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred
