Full job description
Entry-Level Patient Records Specialist — Murray, UT (Full-Time)
Join a growing healthcare team and help ensure accurate, secure patient records that support quality care.
What you'll do:

Maintain and update patient records within EHR systems
-
Process medical records requests and documentation in a timely manner
-
Review records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policy

Upload referrals, imaging reports, test results, and other clinical documentation
-
Manage scanned documents, faxes, and incoming/outgoing correspondence
-
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely record management
-
Support billing, insurance verification, and other administrative tasks as needed
What we're looking for:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 1 year of experience in medical records, health information, or a medical office setting

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical record confidentiality
-
Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail

Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred (AdvancedMD is a plus)
