JOB SUMMARY

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Radiation Oncology Department. Is driven to meet and exceed patient and physician expectations. Assists in selecting, developing and maintaining teams of competent staff and holds them accountable for and recognizes their contributions for desired results. Maintains responsibility to see that customer and physician satisfaction is achieved. Is responsible for the financial as well as service outcomes of the departments.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Education: Demonstrated leadership and management abilities that are normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Licensure: Certified Radiation Technologist, Oncology Certification or RN license with Oncology experience. Must be certified in the State of Indiana. CPR certification.

  • Experience: 3 years experience working as a Radiation Technologist or Oncology RN, 2-3 years leadership experience preferred (Senior RT or management experience). Five to seven years of previous and progressively more responsible work-related experience in a supervisory role preferred.
