Job Description:
-
Supports Heart Care & Vascular Surgery office in Palm Harbor, FL
-
Shift: Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM
-
Functions as a liaison for management staff, administration, physicians, managed care companies, community organizations, and other customers.
-
Coordinates efforts for treatment and promotes quality improvement.
-
Manages educational efforts and compiles data to track outcomes. Makes recommendations for process improvement.
-
Provides referrals and supports follow-up care for patients who are uninsured or underinsured.

Facilitates communication between patients and healthcare providers.
-
Ensures continuity of care.

Assists patients in navigating the healthcare system.
-
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills [Required]
- Working knowledge of insurance coverage and procedures [Required]
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally [Preferred]
- Working knowledge of insurance coverage and procedure [Preferred]
Education:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

Pay Range:
$32.76 - $57.47 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
