What You Will Do

Under general supervision, you perform detailed field surveys at the assigned site. You perform detailed field surveys and may oversee the activities of field survey crews while maintaining accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed. In this role, you update appropriate conventional and electronic (GIS) files, research previous survey evidence, maps, physical evidence, and other records, and recommend methods and procedures for conducting assigned surveys. As the Surveyor, you prepare and present findings to engineering and operational personnel and perform other duties as required.

What You Bring To Freeport

  • Advanced training or education in surveying, mapping or a related field, AND one (1) year surveying experience relevant to assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

The estimated pay range for this role is currently ** $24.50 - $33.00/hour.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
