Salary Range: $88,000 - $100,000 (Annually)

Job Summary
We are looking for a talented individual to join our Product Programs team as Director of Product Programs who provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey’s annual Cookie Program and Fall Product Program representing more than $5 million in annual gross sales revenue. This role is responsible for program performance, partnership development, cross-functional alignment, and team leadership, ensuring that they align with the Mission and drive GSHNJ’s strategic priorities. The Director is responsible for growing revenue, participation, and overall program performance, particularly within the Cookie Program, by making data-informed decisions that lead to effective business strategies and strong operational execution, volunteer satisfaction, and member participation. The Director leads a high-performing team, cultivating strong, mission-centered relationships with staff, volunteers, vendors, strategic partners, and other stakeholders to maximize mission impact, financial results, and the overall experience of every member.
Job Qualifications

B.A. or equivalent experience required.

Minimum of five years in a leadership position including team management and program or business strategy.

Experience in sales strategy and performance management. Experience driving sales results and participation growth.

Experience in supply chain, inventory, or large-scale program operations.

Experience using data to drive decisions and improvements.

Experience working cross-functionally and building partnerships.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn systems such as Smart Cookie and M2 Media. • Strong ability to use data to make decisions and improve performance.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze data, create reports, and identify trends to support informed decision-making.

Strong process improvement skills, with the ability to evaluate workflows, analyze performance metrics, and implement operational improvements that drive efficiency and program outcomes.

Demonstrated abilities in planning, evaluation, forecasting, and data analysis.

Strong team leadership and people management skills.

Clear communicator with demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts both internally and externally.

Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities and deadlines.

Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable making decisions.

Ability to formulate short- and long-term personal and team goals, objectives, schedules, and priorities in line with GSHNJ’s overall strategic plan.

Ability to build, coach and develop an effective, high performing team by promoting partnerships between functional units, collaboratively defining boundaries and outcomes of work responsibilities; sharing information with others; recognizing and rewarding team’s accomplishments; collaborating with others to create optimal solutions.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, especially during peak program seasons.

Ability to lift and manipulate up to 30 pounds of Girl Scouting products, supplies, or materials.

A valid driver’s license is required if driving a council vehicle. Reliable transportation, whether the employee’s own vehicle or public transportation, is necessary for travel between council properties and throughout the entire service area as needed.

Must become a registered member of Girl Scouts and maintain membership for duration of employment.

The job will require on-site hours during Fall Product and Cookie delivery periods, but may be performed remotely during the off-seasons. Occasionally, Employee will need to attend meetings, trainings, or work events that may be held in any of our locations, others throughout council jurisdiction, or virtually.
