Job Title: 2nd Shift Machine Operator Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Machine Operator who will play a crucial role in forming large rolls of thin metal into siding for buildings and roofs. This position is vital to ensuring the highest quality standards in our production process.

Responsibilities

• Clean work area daily, including sweeping floors, emptying trash, and stacking pallets.

• Perform all quality checks and ensure the highest quality in produced items.

• Double count all pieces and verify color and profile before wrapping.

• Maintain adequate stock levels of flats in racks.

• Complete all orders that require running flats for the day's trucks (10 or more).

• Assist with lifting sheet metal into the machine with a partner.

Essential Skills

• Strong work history with solid tenure at previous employers.

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No prior manufacturing experience required.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Ability to lift 75 pounds.

• Basic math skills and comfort with using computers.

Work Environment

This is a Permanent position based out of Hartford, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
