Sr. Golang Developer

Job Description

Insight global is seeking a Sr. Golang Developer to support one of our large automotive customers hybrid onsite. This individual will be joining the Developer Build System (DBS) team where you'll contribute towards the production of command-line tools that handle the complexity of building and packaging for software (Phoenix, ECG, TCU, SYNC4.) Allowing our users to spend less time building and maintaining the build system, increasing their productivity. Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. They are involved in the entire software development lifecycle including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality and deploying the software to meet customer requirements.

Compensation:

$70/hr to $74/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

-7+ years of software development experience

• Proficient experience in Golang programing language

• Experience in languages such as Python, Bash, C/C+- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programing (OOP) and Object Oriented Design (OOD)

• Experience with Github Actions

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

-Strong Agile methodology practices - Degree in related field

• Experience with Jfrog tools
