Reports to: Product Coordinator Supervisor

Summary: As a member of the Martin's Family, the Product Coordinator Helper helps with the coordinate of baskets within the Product Coordinating area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for moving baskets to designated areas.

  • Ensures basket line is running smoothly at all times.

  • Monitors and fills the basket lines with empty baskets.

  • Facilitates the basket line getting fixed as needed if there are jam ups or mechanical breakdowns

  • Re-tags baskets as needed.

  • Maintains the cleanliness of the trailers, stale area, and warehouse.

  • Maintains inventories of invalid, broken and dirty baskets.

  • Adheres to safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED;

  • Related experience or training helpful.

  • Ability to learn how to operate an Electric Pallet Jack required.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to operate or learn to operate an electric jack.

  • Ability to operate a PC and other electronic HMI equipment.

  • Ability to operate a handheld scanner or RFID reader.
