Dental Hygienist – Amherst, NH.

Local Pay: $36.00/hour

Shift Details:

Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization.

  • Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress.

  • Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.

  • Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).

  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.

  • Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments.

  • Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems.

  • Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current, valid, and unrestrictedNH license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Must be Certified Dental Assistant.

  • Required Education: High school diploma or GED

  • Preferred Education: -Associate’s degree or certification in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required)

  • Required Certifications & Licensure: -X-ray training or certification.

  • BLS certification.

  • Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort.

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.
