Description

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Grant is the home to five people and is located in a beautiful neighborhood in Woodstock, and is a short drive to the village. The people who live at Grant enjoy engaging with the staff who work there, who truly become a big part of their lives.

A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certific ation.

HOURS: 36/Monday through Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

STARTING SALARY: $ 18.26 to $ 20.09 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred

  • Acceptable NYS Driver's License

  • Computer skills
