Full job description

Aerotek is hiring for a MIG Welder/Fitter for a growing company in Iuka, MS. This position is a 1st shift opportunity paying $18-21/hr depending on experience. This role is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity with weekly attendance bonuses once permanent.

Job Description

-Candidates will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding structural steel components according to blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.

-Performs FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) on structural steel parts for moving bridges, ensures proper fit-up, alignment, and dimensional accuracy, and operates welding and fabrication equipment safely.

-Reads and interprets engineering drawings, measures and cuts materials, and inspects completed welds to meet quality and safety standards.

-Works independently and as part of a fabrication team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

🕒 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

💰 Built-in Overtime (Typically 45-50 Hours Weekly)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iuka, MS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
