Job Description

The Project

Insight Global is supporting a leading technology client on a large-scale hyperscale data center campus in the Atlanta metro, three buildings planned over the next three years, on a gigawatt-class site delivered under a developer-led model (a newer delivery approach where third-party developers own the bulk of execution and the client provides owner's-side oversight and framework). This is a high-visibility program in its formative stage, where the leadership team is actively building the framework for how cost, schedule, and execution are managed across developers.

The Role

The Project Scheduler Lead owns the schedule discipline at the campus/program level, above the individual building schedulers. This person is responsible for the integrated campus master schedule across all three buildings and multiple developers, sets the scheduling standards and framework the developers are held to, and ensures schedule integrity, alignment, and early-warning visibility across the entire program. Reporting to the Campus Lead and partnering closely with the Cost Leads, the Scheduler Lead is a senior, program-level owner, not a single-building scheduler.

Because this is a developer-led model with newly awarded developers on each building, a core part of the role is building and streamlining the scheduling framework and feeding those standards and processes to the developers, keeping the program on schedule while being a strong partner: engaged and setting the standard, without taking over the developers' own management of the work.

Key Responsibilities

Own the integrated campus master schedule across all buildings and developers; ensure alignment, logic integrity, and a single source of schedule truth at the program level

Establish the campus scheduling framework, standards, templates, and cadence, and feed those standards to newly awarded developers and their GCs

Set and enforce baseline schedule requirements (CPM spec, WBS coding, DCMA-14 health standards) that developers must meet; review and validate developer/GC baselines and updates

Lead program-level schedule reviews; roll up building-level schedules into campus reporting and executive-level narratives for the Campus Lead and cost leadership

Identify and drive early warning on campus-wide critical-path risks, most notably power/substation delivery, long-lead equipment, and permitting/mass-grading sequencing

Partner with the Campus Cost Lead and cost team to keep schedule aligned with cost, cash flow, and change

Mentor and provide direction to building-level schedulers; ensure consistency of method and reporting across the campus

Support the maturation of the client's developer-led delivery framework from a scheduling standpoint as the program scales
