About the Organization

SMBIC Data and Regulatory Operations Group is a global team operating in over 20 countries, providing essential support to key business lines including Markets, Services, and Wealth Management. We provide an array of services to enable client lifecycle transactions; from relationship establishment, supporting the data demands surrounding instruments and delivering non-financial reporting to our regulators.

The Strategic Change Team, within SMBIC Data and Regulatory Operations, is responsible for the execution of regulatory change initiatives, including:

  • Developing and implementing Gen AI solutioning strategies in partnership with Technology

  • Leading strategic planning and Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation

  • Driving transformative change initiatives across the organization

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced project management professional to provide essential project management support for the execution of the key projects within the SMBIC Data and Regulatory Operations Group. This role will ensure robust governance, tracking, and reporting for related projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive project management support for our project execution, including formalizing meeting minutes, tracking project plans, dependencies, risks, and actions.

  • Prepare and update governance decks and project reports for various stakeholder groups, including steering committees and working groups.

  • Maintain and track project documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility.

  • Provide robust tracking and governance, monitoring progress and escalating issues as necessary.

  • Support other smaller projects within the SMBIC Data and Regulatory Operations Group, applying PM best practices.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.

  • Assist in the preparation of project timelines, resource plans, and budget tracking.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the financial services industry.

  • Proven experience in project governance, reporting, risk management, and issue tracking.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and formalize project documentation, including minutes, action logs, and project plans.

  • Experience in creating and updating governance decks and management reports.

  • Strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Understanding of data management principles and experience with issue tracking systems is highly desirable.

  • Experience and understanding of referential data

Education

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent work experience. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
