How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a chemical and petrochemical location.

• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and delivery areas to help support authorized access, report suspicious activity, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the perimeter and key access points, to help identify unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or security-related risks.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
