Duties & Responsibilities

Circulate, monitor, and scrub invasive cardiovascular procedures.
-
Manage post-procedure patients .
-
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs utilizing the nursing process.

Actively participate in providing patient care as defined by the multidisciplinary plan of care.
-
Deliver direct and indirect nursing care to patients of diverse cultural backgrounds and varying ages.
-
Manage and provide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families using independent judgment.
-
Communicate and collaborate effectively with all team members to ensure quality care.
-
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients, and families.
-
Work toward achieving desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
Qualifications:
-
Licensed Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
-
Minimum of 2 years critical care(preferred)/cardiac telemetry or emergency room experience.
-
BSN preferred, ADN candidates must be enrolled in BSN program within 18 months of hire date. BSN required within 4 years from date of hire.

BLS required
-
ACLS or obtain within 6 months of hire.

Continues to learn and grow professionally through accepting assignments with differing patient load and complexity, clinical development programs, and involvement in professional organization.
**AnMed associate degree Nurses (ADN) who were hired as RNs prior to January 1, 2013, and continue to work as an acute care Staff Nurse since that date, were “grandfathered” and the requirement to obtain BSN within four (4) years does not apply **
