Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join a dynamic construction company. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair on heavy equipment, including excavators, dump trucks, skid steers, and dozers.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Utilize blueprints and schematics for equipment maintenance and repair tasks.

Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

Use and maintain personal tools for equipment repair and maintenance.
Essential Skills
-
3-5 years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience.

Proficiency in working with excavators, dump trucks, skid steers, and dozers.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Capability to perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with forklifts, bulldozers, and construction equipment.

Knowledge of maintenance repair, industrial engines, and transmission systems.

Experience with equipment maintenance and fabrication.

Hydraulics knowledge is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
