The Senior Solutions Sales Executive - Capital Markets Law Firm sales role is a strategic position dedicated to building awareness, fostering deep relationships, and expanding Workiva’s adoption within the most active law firms nationwide.

Successful candidates will drive towards sourced and co-sell opportunities through proactive engagement with legal stakeholders, ensuring Workiva is the preferred solution provider for capital markets transactions.

What You’ll Do

  • Actively build and nurture relationships with partners and associates within identified law firms.

  • Strategically collaborate with Workiva’s Sales, Marketing and Partnerships teams to generate engagement opportunities.

  • Utilize information gathered during the needs analysis phase to deliver a compelling demonstration of the Workiva platform

  • Skillfully address objections - removing obstacles - and finding solutions to various challenges

  • Lead business development efforts through executing high-value engagement activities, including in-person meetings, lunch and learns, networking events and relationship-building sessions.

  • Rigorously utilize customer relationship management tools to accurately provide forward-looking information for territory analysis and forecasting purposes.

  • Influence and maintain momentum across teams with competing priorities.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of Workiva products through a commitment to ongoing training and a growth mindset

  • Share knowledge, successes, lessons learned and best practices with peers across teams

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years sales experience in a related role selling to Executive-level buyers - enterprise technology, Software as a Service (SaaS) or similar complex solution sales

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to in-house counsel and/or external counsel.

  • Understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model

  • Domain knowledge with securities transactions and merger and acquisition deals.

  • Strong business acumen and and ability to understand complex business issues

  • Executive presence; ability to communicate at the most senior level

  • Ability to identify and understand the power of influencers and how to navigate the nuances of each during engagements.

  • Capability for achieving (and exceeding) quota targets ​

Travel Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Up to 30% travel for regular customer meetings and events

  • Reliable internet access required for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office

Workiva will not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ On Target Earnings (OTE) range in the US: 203,000.00 - 330,000.00 USD Annual ✅ Eligible for commission based on sales performance

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
