🩺Essential Job Functions
You’ll be part of a dynamic care team where every day brings new opportunities to help children learn, grow, and thrive.
💙Direct Care Responsibilities

Perform, assist, evaluate, and document care tasks, including:

Using properbody mechanicsfor safe care

Measuringweight, height, head circumference, and abdominal girth

Assisting withrange of motion exercisesandmobility(ambulation, transfers, and positioning)

Preparingformula and meals (PO and tube feedings)per dietary needs
-
Providing care for each child’s special medical conditions within your scope
🧸Personal Care & Comfort

Assist children with daily activities includingbathing, toileting, diaper changes, grooming, dressing, and feeding

Support and encourage independence while maintaining dignity and safety
📝Documentation & Communication

Accuratelychart, maintain, and completeall required documentation

Observe and reportchanges in a child’s condition to the nursing staff promptly
🧼Safety & Sanitation

Assist withlight housekeepingduties such as washing dishes, cleaning and disinfecting toys and equipment, changing linens, and doing laundry

Followinfection control and isolation protocolsto ensure a safe and healthy environment
🎨Child Development & Engagement

Create meaningfulplay and learning experiencesthat promote fine motor, gross motor, and cognitive skill development

Participate inin-services and care meetings

Maintainconstant supervision— children are never left unattended
🎓Requirements

High school diploma or GED
-
Current CPR certification
-
Demonstrated completion andproficiency in required skill competencies

Able torespond quickly and calmly to emergencies, including performing CPR or assisting with evacuations
