What You Will Do

P&W is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to join our expanding Transformation team. In this role, you will apply CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) industrial engineering principles to support and optimize Fan Blade production processes. You will lead and contribute to transformation activities aimed at improving operational efficiency, enhancing production capabilities, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality aerospace components.

  • Planning/tracking for the manufacturing of aerospace flight components involving sheet metals and fiber reinforced composites.

  • Conduct time studies, work sampling, and process capability analyses to optimize labor utilization, reduce bottlenecks, and improve throughput across manufacturing operations.

  • Develop and implement standardized work, workflow optimization strategies, and capacity models to support production planning, resource allocation, and overall operational efficiency.

  • Design and planning of cell layout for assembly and material handling.

  • Investigates, establishes, and implements requirements for equipment, tooling, and material, including make or buy decisions and facility layout as required for new or revised products.

  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and delivery performance.

  • Interface with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Operations and Quality.

  • Flexibility to occasionally support extended hours

  • Travel dependent on business needs (up to 20%)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in as STEM field and 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality, or closely related environment or a Master's degree and 3 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality, or closely related environment

  • Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes

  • Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Project and Excel)

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Industrial Engineering degree

  • Project management experience

  • Experience delivering communications and presentations

  • CORE Champion level

  • Experience with MRL processes and standards

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
