We are looking for a Plant Manager. This position will be based at our Knightdale, NC location.

As the Plant Manager, you will lead a growing manufacturing operation responsible for producing engineered electrical distribution equipment and outdoor-rated power distribution skid solutions. This role will guide a newly established site through continued ramp-up, workforce growth, production readiness, and long-term operational stability. You will help build the structure, culture, and accountability needed to deliver safe, high-quality products that support data center, electrification, and power infrastructure growth.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Leading and managing daily plant operations across production, quality, customer service, engineering, procurement, and related support functions.

  • Driving production ramp-up, capacity planning, throughput, and operational readiness to meet business metrics, customer commitments, and site growth objectives.

  • Promoting a culture focused on safety, quality, cost, delivery, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborating with plant leadership and shop floor teams to establish structure, improve process flow, optimize production capacity, and support Lean manufacturing practices.

  • Providing direction, development, and leadership to the management team while building a culture of ownership, proactive communication, and employee engagement.

  • Establishing and managing key performance indicators, operating budgets, load planning, headcount planning, capital needs, and other operational cost controls.

  • Partnering with Sales, Project Management, Global Procurement, Product Management, People & Organization, technical teams, suppliers, regional leadership, and external partners to support business alignment and manufacturing execution.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience with the following:

  • Manufacturing operations leadership in a production environment.

  • Leading shop floor operations, production teams, supervisors, and cross-functional manufacturing support teams.

  • Driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, capacity, throughput, and operational performance metrics.

  • Developing operational plans, budgets, resource plans, process improvements, and business-aligned manufacturing strategies.

  • Leading teams through change, solving operational challenges, and improving accountability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading electrical products manufacturing, power distribution equipment, switchgear, transformers, outdoor-rated electrical equipment, or related engineered products.

  • Experience supporting plant start-up, production ramp-up, facility expansion, new production line launch, or transition from launch phase to steady-state manufacturing.

  • Proven Lean implementation, continuous improvement, digital transformation, and change management experience.

  • Experience building, developing, and scaling manufacturing teams while strengthening leadership capability, culture, and accountability.

  • Experience operating in environments with ambiguity, evolving processes, growing headcount, and a need to create structure while maintaining production urgency.
