We're hiring a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you'll operate a sit-down forklift, move materials throughout the facility, support inventory management, and help keep warehouse operations running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift throughout the warehouse

• Load, unload, move, and store materials and products

• Stack pallets and organize inventory in designated locations

• Use warehouse systems and scanners to track inventory

• Complete daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance needs

• Keep forklifts clean and operating safely

• Count inventory and confirm product quantities accurately

• Read scales and measurements when handling materials

• Assist with inventory checks and warehouse organization

• Support general warehouse duties, including cleaning and material handling

• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to count inventory accurately

• Comfortable using warehouse technology, scanners, or computers

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to workplace safety

Bonus Points If You Have

• Current forklift certification

• Experience loading and unloading trucks

• Inventory control experience

• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)

• Shipping and receiving experience

• Material handling experience

Work Environment

You'll work in a busy warehouse setting where you'll spend much of your day operating a forklift, handling materials, and supporting inventory operations. This is an active role that combines forklift operation with general warehouse responsibilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Woodhull, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
