Overview

Job Title: Supply Technician SCA

Location: Redstone Arsenal, AL

Introduction:

Rivet Operations Company (“Rivet”) has openings for multiple Supply Technicians. This position will support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) providing enterprise logistics support. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in physical and cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, process improvement and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to apply stock control practices: bin / location management, reorder levels, due-ins / due-outs, backorder tracking, and reconciliation.

  • Conduct and document cyclic inventories and / or wall-to-wall inventories; research and correct variances with supporting documentation.

  • Maintain audit-ready accountability for equipment / material including: Sensitive / controlled items handling procedures, Custody transfer documentation and chain-of-custody principles and an understanding of property book / accountability concepts.

  • Perform receiving inspections; identify overages / shortages / damages; prepare discrepancy documentation, prepare outbound shipments with correct packing, labeling, and shipping documentation and coordinate with transportation / shipping functions and comply with packaging / packing standards.

  • Ability to generate routine reports (inventory accuracy, due-outs, turn-ins, receiving status) and brief results to government leads.

Education / Experience / Certifications:

  • Personnel performing on this effort shall be U.S. citizens.

  • Personnel are required to have and maintain a security clearance as well as be able to successfully clear a background investigation.

  • High School Diploma or GED with minimum 7 years of experience in Property Accountability Management, including experience with DoD property book systems, tactical property books, or equivalent military / federal property management systems.

  • Must possess Forklift and other Material Handling Equipment certifications.

Security:

Personnel are required to have an active TS/SCI clearance upon hire.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time as well as repeated walking. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Must be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted.
