The Sr. Lead Advisor, ADA Compliance, develops a scalable and compliant accommodation model for diverse, evolving audiences. This role is responsible for leading large initiatives including designing, implementing, and optimizing ADA and return-to-work related policies, processes, and training that scale across the organization. By partnering with key stakeholders, the Sr. Lead Advisor ensures a proactive, consistent, and risk-mitigated approach to workplace accommodations. This position dedicates 50% of its time leading organizational initiatives, building and enhancing the company’s core ADA capabilities and 50% to leading, executing, and operationalizing the interactive process and escalated leave and accommodation cases in service of CFA Supply's Distribution Center network, CFA Supply Services, and Bay Center Foods.

Responsibilities

ADA Strategy and Infrastructure:

  • Develop and implement a scalable ADA and return-to-work framework that is compliant and aligned to our culture of care.

  • Standardize and enhance ADA and related processes to create efficiency and consistency.

Centralized Case Management System:

  • Identify and deploy an ADA case management system to ensure consistency and efficiency in managing ADA requests.

  • Enhance case tracking mechanisms to improve compliance, transparency, metrics and reporting, and timely resolution.

Accommodation Guidelines and Resources:

  • Define and document broad accommodation and return-to-work guidelines and process maps to promote consistency and efficiency.

  • Develop a dynamic, accessible resource guide to support leaders and Staff/Team Members in navigating the accommodations process.

Complexity Triage and Escalation System:

  • Design and implement a tiered approach to categorizing accommodation requests based on complexity.

  • Establish escalation protocols to ensure urgent and high-complexity cases receive appropriate attention and resolution.

ADA Training and Capability Building:

  • Develop training programs to equip Leaders with the knowledge and skills to navigate ADA and related requirements effectively.

  • Implement ongoing education initiatives, customized by audience.

Collaboration and Risk Mitigation:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, ensuring ADA compliance is integrated into broader talent strategies and initiatives.

  • Partner with Legal, Talent Operations, and Talent Experience to proactively mitigate risks and address emerging ADA-related challenges.

Leave Management and Interactive Process Execution

  • Lead complex leave and accommodation cases across multiple entities (CFA Supply and Bay Center Foods) and populations within, including management of escalated and sensitive matters across states with varying leave requirements. Identify trends and opportunities to build scalable solutions that manage compliance, enhance the Team Member experience, and inform future program design.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

  • High School Diploma or equivalency

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience

  • Strong leadership and change management capabilities to influence and drive ADA initiatives across the organization.

  • Ability to design and execute audience-specific training programs that empower Leaders to navigate ADA requirements.

  • Exceptional collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams and drive ADA integration into business operations.
