Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis: Observe, map, and analyze current state processes across various site functions (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, maintenance) to identify bottlenecks, non-value-added steps, and opportunities for optimization

  • Project Management: Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from initiation through completion, including defining scope, setting measurable goals, tracking progress, and reporting results to site leadership.

  • Methodology Application: Apply Lean principles (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Poka-Yoke) and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC) to solve complex operational problems and drive sustainable change.

  • Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor site personnel on continuous improvement tools and techniques, fostering a culture of problem-solving and operational excellence.

  • Standardization: Work with process owners to develop and document new standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for improved processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements and ensure gains are sustained over time.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, process engineering, or manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience with pivot tables, data analysis, and process improvement

Competencies

  • Facilitation, Data literacy, Change enablement, Visual management, Collaboration, Lean, 5S, Kaizen, GEMBA

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
