Available Positions

High School Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Full school year assignment

  • Caseload: Approximately 50-54 students

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday

  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

  • Start Date: August 24, 2026

Middle School / Dual Language Elementary Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Assignment through at least December 14, 2026

  • Caseload: Approximately 50-54 students

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday

  • Hours: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM

  • Start Date: August 24, 2026

Position Summary

The School Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating students, developing treatment plans, and providing speech and language therapy services in accordance with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP), plan of care, and physician recommendations as applicable.

The SLP works collaboratively with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' communication skills and academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

  • Monitor student outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, district, and professional standards

  • Support students in accessing the educational curriculum through effective communication strategies

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the State of Minnesota or ability to obtain licensure before start date

Preferred

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

  • Previous school-based experience

  • Experience working with middle school, elementary, or high school populations

  • Knowledge of IEP processes and special education services
