Job Description
PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known, reputable company in Hawesville, KY.
We are accepting applications for Fire Watch Attendants.
This position will be:
September 14, 2026 thru September 23, 2026
Hours & Shift:
You may select to only work certain days or you may choose to work every day.
1st Shift - 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM
2nd Shift - 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Job Description:
Monitor welding, cutting, grinding, and other hot work operations.
Inspect the work area before, during, and after hot work activities.
Watch for sparks, hot slag, and other ignition sources that could start a fire.
Maintain fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment within easy reach.
Immediately notify personnel and activate emergency procedures if a fire occurs.
Remain on-site for required fire watch periods after hot work is completed.
Ensure combustible materials are removed or protected from sparks and heat.
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and permit requirements.
Communicate safety concerns to supervisors and contractors.
Work Environment:
Industrial and manufacturing setting.
Will be exposed to heat, noise.
Will be working outdoors.
Job Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks involving extended periods of standing, lifting, bending stooping, handling materials, repetitive motions.
Comfortable working in varying temperature environments.
Wear PPE (personal protective equipment) for long periods.
Steel Toe Boots are required.
