Description: Senior Administrative Assistant - Full Time

As a valued member of the hospice team, the Administrative Assistant supports the mission and values of Community Hospice by providing exceptional administrative and customer service support to patients, families, and staff.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Tracking, processing, and maintaining physician orders to ensure timely completion and compliance
  • Supporting and covering Home Health Aide (HHA) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) scheduling needs
  • Answering and directing calls on a multi-line telephone system, routing calls, messages, and information to field staff
  • Greeting and assisting visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Managing incoming faxes and other documentation
  • Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records, while utilizing various computer software applications to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and changing environment. Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and commitment to teamwork are essential.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of administrative or secretarial experience
  • Strong customer service and computer skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, flexible, adaptable, and responsive to change.

Pay Range: $18.50 - $24.92

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
