Description
The Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month appointment, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Modern Middle East history, broadly defined, with an anticipated start date in fall 2027. We seek a scholar whose research complements and enhances existing departmental strengths and broadens our intellectual and methodological diversity. Candidates should demonstrate a record of, or clear potential for, significant scholarly contributions. For more on the department’s exceptional research, see our faculty listing. Qualifications
The position requires a Ph.D. in History, or a related field.
