Laboratory Technician – Materials & Applications
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a leading global materials and specialty chemicals organization known for developing innovative solutions used across a wide range of industrial and consumer applications. We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support laboratory testing, equipment maintenance, and data management in a technical laboratory environment.

Position Summary
The Laboratory Technician will support day-to-day laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, testing, and data management under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Chemist.
This role is well suited for someone with 1–3 years of laboratory experience who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, comfortable working with laboratory equipment and chemicals, and eager to learn.
The technician will perform standard laboratory testing to support new product introductions and customer sample testing , while accurately documenting and organizing results for Application Engineers and other internal teams.
Key Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and monitor laboratory and application equipment.

Support standardization, harmonization, and administration of laboratory test methods.

Ensure laboratory and application equipment is properly calibrated and safety-checked according to established procedures and applicable regulations.

Conduct standard laboratory testing to support new product introductions and customer sample testing.

Follow established experimental protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable data.

Document and maintain accurate laboratory test results and records.

Compile laboratory data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

Share testing data and results with Application Engineers and other internal stakeholders.

Support laboratory organization, safety, and day-to-day operations.

Work under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Chemist while developing proficiency in laboratory methods and equipment.
Required Qualifications

1–3 years of laboratory experience preferred.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices.

Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols and procedures.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
-
Comfortable working with laboratory chemicals while following established safety procedures.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office , particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Willingness and ability to learn new laboratory methods, equipment, and procedures.

Ability to stand and work in a laboratory environment for most of the workday.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Educational Background
A degree or coursework in the following areas is a plus:

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented laboratory professional who can follow established procedures, work safely with chemicals and laboratory equipment, accurately document results, and learn new testing methods.
Candidates with experience in materials testing, engineering laboratories, chemistry, coatings, polymers, adhesives, product testing, or related technical laboratory environments are encouraged to apply.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $15.00 per hour
