Production Operator III - Extrusion Line Operator
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7AM - 7PM; 12-hour shifts
Pay: $23 - $28 per hour
SUMMARY:
The Production Operator III - Extrusion Line Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a plastic extrusion machine in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up and operate extrusion machinery according to production procedures and diagrams.

Adjust and clean machines as necessary, documenting work performed.
-
Collaborate closely with senior personnel to ensure efficient operation and adherence to quality standards.

Maintain a moderate understanding of general aspects of the extrusion process.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with machines.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must have experience with profile extrusion.
-
Minimum of 2 years of general work experience preferred.

Familiarity with the following is preferred:
-
Extruders
-
Water tanks
-
Pullers
-
Cutters
-
Die tooling and sizers
-
Various types of plastic resins
SKILLS:

Strong mechanical and operational skills.

Ability to understand and troubleshoot machine issues.

Physical strength and stamina are essential.

Proficient computer skills and good dexterity.

Strong critical thinking skills and self-motivation.

Initiative in facilitating the goals of the company.
