We are seeking dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Emergency Department Technicians to join our team! We have Full Time and Per Diem opportunities available for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a collaborative healthcare team.
As an Emergency Department Technician, you'll work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide essential patient care and clinical support while helping the Emergency Department operate efficiently.

What You'll Do
As an Emergency Department Technician, you will provide hands-on support and help keep the department running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:

Perform various patient care activities under the direction of a qualified Registered Nurse
-
Provide technical support to the Emergency Department team
-
Participate in unit activities and contribute as an active team member
-
Perform related clerical functions that support clinical operations
-
Review, complete, and terminally file Emergency Department records
-
Support accurate and organized documentation
-
Participate in unit, departmental, and organizational improvement activities as assigned
-
Maintain patient confidentiality and interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
One year of acute care experience in a hospital setting
-
Computer literacy required
-
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
-
Excellent organizational skills
-
Ability to organize, plan, and complete assignments under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse
-
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
-
Professional and courteous approach when working with internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Phlebotomy experience
-
EKG experience
-
Emergency Department experience
-
Medical Terminology coursework
-
Post-secondary education in a related field
-
Experience with Microsoft Office products
-
Experience with electronic medical records, including Meditech
-
Excel and spreadsheet experience
Certifications
-
BLS certification — provided during your first week of employment
-
CPI certification — obtained within 30 days of hire
