Full job description

Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking several Automatics Operators to help keep the world moving. An Automatics Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, adjusting, and performing basic troubleshooting on multi-spindle automatic screw machines

Job Title: Automatics Operator

Location: Chetek, WI

Pay Range: Starting Pay $25/hour with flexibility depending on experience level. Quarterly profit-sharing bonus

Shift Details: M-F 2:00pm – 11:00pm

What’s the Job?

  • Set up, operate, and adjust multi-spindle automatic screw machines, including ISAMs, NoCAMS, and Hydromats.

  • Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and process adjustments to meet production specifications.

  • Inspect finished parts using gauges and measuring instruments to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.

  • Troubleshoot machining issues, make corrections, and maintain quality throughout the production run.

  • Perform routine machine maintenance, monitor oil and coolant levels, and follow all safety procedures.

What’s Needed?

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

  • At least 1 year of machining experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, and use precision measuring instruments.

  • Experience with tool grinding, sharpening, and proper tooling selection, including inserts and coatings.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing
