Full job description

What you will do

In this broad, hands-on position at the heart of KFSUK's Finance function, you will work closely with the Head of Finance and Group Finance stakeholders to own the month-end close process and regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness across the P&L, balance sheet, and daily safeguarding reconciliations in line with FCA requirements. You will prepare management accounts and reporting packs for internal stakeholders, the Consumer Credit and Finance Committee (CCFC) and the KFSUK Board, lead the annual budget and quarterly reforecast process, and build longer-term financial forecasting models covering P&L, balance sheet, capital and liquidity projections. On the treasury side, you will monitor cash and intercompany balances and take ownership of KFSUK's annual stress testing. You will also support tax, transfer pricing and governance activities, including VAT and corporate tax compliance, the quarterly IGSA review and service fee calculations, and audit support for external statutory and safeguarding audits. Beyond day-to-day financial control, you will contribute to strategic initiatives shaping the future of KFSUK and the UK market.

Who you are

  • A qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in a regulated financial services environment

  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

  • Strong financial modelling skills, comfortable working with large data sets

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex finance matters clearly

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently

  • Hands-on experience with month-end close, management reporting or regulatory reporting in a financial services environment

Awesome to have

  • Exposure to treasury, capital or liquidity management

  • Familiarity with tax compliance and FCA regulatory reporting

  • Experience with transfer pricing or intercompany governance

  • Experience supporting statutory or safeguarding audits
