Position Overview
The School Registered Nurse oversees the nursing process and delivery of student healthcare services within the school setting. The RN supports the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students while promoting a safe and healthy learning environment.
The School RN plays a vital role in:

Responding to medical emergencies

Conducting health assessments and monitoring

Services are provided in accordance with Amergis standards, policies, professional nursing practices, and physician orders.
Qualifications
Required
-
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or eligible for licensure

Current CPR certification (if applicable)
Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
-
School Nurse Certification, as required by state or contract
-
One year of school nursing, pediatric nursing, or public health experience
-
Knowledge of school health services and care coordination
