Position Summary

Lincoln County Behavioral Health is looking for a Wraparound Coach to assist with coaching Wrap Care Coordinators on the ten Wraparound principles, four phases of Wraparound, and the activities/facilitation components associated with each phase of Wraparound. This person will also provide Care Coordination to an assigned caseload. $30.55 - $41.05 per hour* **

*Lincoln County follows Oregon Pay Equity laws in reviewing education and experience for wage offer.

**This position receives a $500.00 monthly stipend for performing lead responsibilities.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities

Provide Peer Coaching of the Wraparound Team:

  • Develop coaching plans.

  • Observe and facilitate meetings.

  • Provide group and individual coaching.

  • Create documentation which demonstrates that coaching is responsive to diverse cultural beliefs, practices, languages, learning styles and communication.

  • Conduct meeting/team observations for all care coordinators on a regular basis.

  • Orient new staff and provide a foundation for Wraparound practice.

  • Oversee the data requirements for Wraparound.

  • Provide input to and facilitate established Quality Assurance activities for the Wraparound Program.

  • Participate in various advisory bodies overseeing Wraparound implementation and System of Care development.

Care Coordination Duties:

  • Apply principles and practices of Wraparound to fidelity to an assigned caseload.

  • Participate in Care Coordination meetings for assigned caseload.

  • Document services to Program/Division Standards.

Community Outreach

  • Attend local, regional, and State level coordination meetings focusing on Wraparound, Systems of Care, or other related issues as assigned.

  • Market and provide community education about Wraparound services.

  • Address concerns about service delivery in collaboration with supervisors and managers.

Typical Qualifications

EDUCATION

Bachelors with major coursework in psychology, social work, counseling or relating behavior science, and 1000 hours of clinical work.

EXPERIENCE

Two years experience as a wrap case manager/coordinator in behavioral health field.

CERTIFICATIONS

Classified as a Qualified Mental Health Associate, within 30 days of appointment Certified in Wrap Facilitation through Portland State University or Vroon within 6-months of hire.

Driver’s License

Oregon Driver's License required within 30 days of hire.

Desirable Qualifications: Bilingual and/or bicultural competencies for Latino population.

Knowledge of:

  • Childhood development and complex mental health needs of children, youth, and families.

  • Wraparound principles, phases, and associated services with each phase of Wraparound.

  • Care Coordination duties.

  • Quality Management functions in a fidelity program.

  • Coaching strategies.

  • Mental Health documentation.

Lincoln County offers a comprehensive benefit package including vacation, holiday, and sick leave as well as medical, dental, vision which is paid at 90% by the County and 10% by the employee. Other fully paid benefits include life, AD&D, long-term disability insurance. Other optional insurances are available. A 401K retirement plan is also provided. The County's current contribution rate is 11%.

Regular and Trial Service employees working between 20 - 39 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible for pro-rated employee benefits.
