Overview:
Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a F/T Evening Floor Technician for our Environmental Services Dept.
The Floor Technician is r esponsible for maintenance of floors. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, various equipment and cleaning applications to include: mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping and polishing. Cross trained to Environmental Services Technician I competencies in order to provide cleaning duties when necessary.
Education
- HS Diploma or Equivalent (Required) 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience may be accepted in lieu of HS education. Certification/Licensure
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
- Up to one year environment services experience - Required
- Experience maintaining floors in a commercial or healthcare setting - Preferred .
