Job Duties

Experienced CNC Mill or Lathe Operator

We are looking for Class A Machinists, ones that can set up and inspect their work.

Set up Vertical HAAS Machines. Set up Toshiba Horizontal Machines. Also, set-up and program CNC lathe. We are a short run job shop so set up and programming is very important. 12-20'' chucks large parts at times. Plenty of overtime. Must have own tools and be able to program on a PC associated with each machine. Must be able to use overhead hoists.

Operate CNC milling / lathe machines according to blueprints and job specifications

Load raw materials and oversee the machining process

Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed

Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet quality standards.

Conduct an inspection of finished products throughout the manufacturing process for accuracy and quality

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills

Proficient in CNC milling or lathe machines

Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers/micrometers)

Understanding of inspection and quality processes within a manufacturing facility.
