CNC Machinist-1st & 2nd Shift
Location: Mankato, MN 56001
Shift Hours: 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM
Hiring Basis: Direct hire basis

Pay: $26-$32/Hourly/W2
Lotus Technical has a direct role for CNC Machinists for our manufacturing client located in Mankato, MN. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate CNC lathe machines, primarily using Fanuc controls, ensuring accurate production according to specifications.
Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce precise components.
Perform machine setup procedures, including tooling selection and calibration using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines.
Conduct quality checks during production using precision tools such as dial indicators, digital calipers, and micrometers.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling hand tools and power tools.
Support continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles and assist in troubleshooting machining issues.
Minimum Education Required
High school diploma, or GED.
Minimum Experience Required
Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC machinery, specifically CNC conventional lathes. Experience with CNC Swiss lathes is highly desired. Will consider candidates with any kind of machining experience provided mechanically inclined and can read a printed gage for inspections.
Proficiency in CNC programming and Fanuc controls is highly desired.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes.
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges for quality assurance.
Ability to perform basic math calculations for machining adjustments.
Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
