Key focus areas include Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults, Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing clinical care, and Utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based interventions, including EMDR to address trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and related concerns.

Successful candidates bring Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Clinician, and EMDR Trained Part 1 & Part II. Important skills include EMDR, Trauma-Informed Practice, Evidence-Based Practice, Psychotherapy, Clinical Assessment, and Documentation. Preferred (not required): Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Russian.

We close at 12:30pm every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day — giving our team more time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the summer sunshine!

Northeast Family Services is seeking caring and experienced Outpatient Therapists to join our growing New York team!

We are expanding our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic! Currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) who is EMDR trained or EMDR certified to join our clinical team. This is a fee-for-service, hybrid position with flexibility and opportunity or growth as we continue to expand.

The ideal clinician is trauma-informed, grounded in evidence-based practice, and comfortable providing psychotherapy to a mixed population of children and adults within an outpatient setting.

Hybrid opportunity in our New Rochelle and Bronx clinic locations.

Language Differential provided for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, French, and Hindi!

Compensation:

  • Fee – For – Service:

$70 - $ 100/ hour

Premiums paid for:

  • Non-English language capacity

  • Experience

  • Select clinical specialties

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing clinical care.

  • Utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based interventions, including EMDR to address trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and related concerns.

  • Demonstrate clinical competency in working with trauma histories and complex presentations.

  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record.

  • Participate in clinical supervision, consultation, and team meetings as required.

  • Adhere to ethical standards, agency policies, and New York State regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Active New York State LCSW or LMHC (required)

  • EMDR trained (Part 1 & Part II completed) or EMDR certified

  • Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy

  • Comfort working with children and adult populations

  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage caseload independently within productivity expectations

  • Access to a laptop or CPS, secure internet, and a phone required.
