AKA Brands is seeking a Manager of Data – Retail & eCommerce Analytics to join its growing Data & Analytics team. Reporting directly to CIO / SVP Operations, this role will drive data‑informed decision‑making across merchandising, marketing, planning, finance, and operations.
This individual will play a key role in analyzing business performance across both digital and retail channels, uncovering insights that drive growth, optimize operations, and improve overall business performance. The ideal candidate is a strong technical analyst with business acumen who can translate data into clear recommendations that influence executive decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct advanced analysis on sales, inventory, pricing, and customer performance
• Identify trends and growth opportunities across retail and eCommerce channels
• Partner cross‑functionally with merchandising, marketing, finance, and operations teams
• Perform deep‑dive analysis into brand, channel, and customer behavior
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to build data models, pipelines, and metrics
• Develop dashboards and reporting (Tableau or similar) to track key business KPIs
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and consistency across systems
• Present insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership

Skills and Requirements
Must‑Have Qualifications
• 4–7+ years of experience in data analytics or business analytics .00
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and BI tools (Tableau preferred)
• Deep understanding of retail and eCommerce performance metrics (sales, inventory, conversion, margin)
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data storytelling skills
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field Nice‑to‑Have Experience
• Experience in retail, fashion, or consumer goods industries
• Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, NetSuite, or similar
• Experience working with omnichannel data (DTC + retail)
• Experience collaborating with data engineering teams
