Full job description
Our client is a well-known food manufacturer. Due to growth, seeking an Industrial Engineer to join the manufacturing team. Primary responsibilities include:

Analyze production workflows to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase manufacturing throughput using LEAN principles.

Conducte time studies and line balancing to optimize labor utilization and production capacity.
-
Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement continuous process improvements.
-
Develope standard work instructions, monitored KPIs, and ensured compliance with food safety and quality standards.
-
Lead root cause analyses to reduce downtime, improve equipment performance, and support operational excellence.

Provide reports to upper management and stake holders.
Position reports to Plant Manager
Ideal candidates for Industrial Engineer will possess the following
-
Bachelors degree in Engineering
-
LEAN Six Sigma certified (LSSGB, etc.)
-
3+ years experience in a food production or high-volume processing plant
-
Understanding of OSHA standards and GMP
Salary up to $85,000/yr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA, etc.
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
