Job Description

ZT Group Int'l, Inc. dba ZT Systems seeks a Sr. Pricing Analyst in Secaucus, NJ.

Duties:

• Collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to develop pricing strategies and generate timely quotes.

• Upload and archive structured quote data in ZT data warehouses (QSH – Quote Submission History) for traceability and future reference.

• Prepare clear and concise pricing narratives for the Account Team to support customer communications.

• Maintain and update JIRA tickets, ensuring all quote-related activities follow established workflows and documentation standards.

• Conduct data analysis and generate reports, presentations, and actionable recommendations to support quoting decisions.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, customer operations, costing, and account teams to understand product configurations and align pricing with customer expectations.

• Support Non-Standard Costing Requests: Assist the costing team by providing accurate data and analysis for edge cases and non-standard product configurations.

• Maintain and continuously improve pricing models by factoring in material costs, labor, configuration complexity, and customer-specific requirements across various quote types.

• Prepare monthly freight analysis related to inbound material shipments.

• Analyze pricing performance and market trends to recommend adjustments that enhance revenue and margin outcomes.

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and version control of pricing databases and tools used across quoting and costing processes.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, plus 2 years of experience as a Pricing Analyst or a related role.

Requires 2 years of experience with the following:

• Pivot tables, lookups, macros.

• Working with large amounts of data from at least one of the following sources: data tables, ERP (SAP), QSH, or Excel.

• SQL

• Tableau

• Python Data Science Libraries including Pandas and Numpy

• Jira and Gitlab.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with independent judgement to deal with ambiguity.

• short/ long-term planning and data analysis skills.

• cross-functional collaboration skills across different teams and levels.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, plus 2 years of experience as a Pricing Analyst or a related role, Petitioner will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or related field, plus any amount of experience as a Pricing Analyst, or a related role.

Requires any amount of experience or knowledge with the following:

• Pivot tables, lookups, macros.
