Salary Range or Pay Grade
$405,000 - $627,257 a year
Description
The Cardiology Division of the University of Rochester Medical Center is recruiting a board certified/board eligible interventional cardiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for its clinical interventional cardiology program. This program currently consists of a 7-member clinical faculty group with high volumes of diagnostic, interventional, and structural cardiac procedures serving a 7-hospital health system that provides care throughout upstate and western New York. Candidates with experience and interest in high-risk and complex PCI and mechanical circulatory support will be strongly considered as the medical center is a tertiary referral center supporting one of the largest VAD programs in the country and the only heart transplant program in western and upstate New York. Structural heart disease training is not required. The clinical program is complimented by a highly regarded cardiovascular clinical research program with substantial NIH and industry funding. A very competitive compensation and benefits package is offered.
Qualifications
M.D. Degree or equivalent
Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
Must meet all credentialing requirements
Eligible for Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
