Contract-to-Hire | 4 days on-site / 1 remote

About the role

Our client is hiring an Oracle HCM Payroll Developer to join their Payroll Technology team. You'll follow the full software development lifecycle to design, configure, test, debug, and implement Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll solutions – building and troubleshooting the components that keep enterprise payroll running. You'll work closely with the team through year-end and beyond, learning the environment alongside the current team before taking ownership.

What you'll do

  • Design, code/configure, test, debug, and implement application programs following the SDLC

  • Build and maintain Elements, Fast Formulas, and Value Sets in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll

•Create, enhance, and troubleshoot components using Oracle Cloud tools – HDL/HSDL, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, BI templates, and OTBI

  • Test Payroll OHCM processes, identify and document bugs, and collaborate to resolve defects

  • Prepare technical design specifications from functional requirements

  • Partner across HR, Compensation, and Payroll on end-to-end integrations

What you bring

  • 5-8 years of Oracle HCM experience

  • In-depth functional knowledge of payroll processing, US taxes, and payroll accounting

  • Strong hands-on experience creating and maintaining Elements, Fast Formulas, and Value Sets

  • Deep knowledge of Oracle HCM tables for troubleshooting, support, and reporting

  • Proficiency with HDL/HSDL, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, and OTBI

  • PL/SQL and OIC integration experience a plus

  • A collaborative, team-first approach – comfortable working with others to find answers rather than going it alone

Details

  • Contract-to-hire

  • On-site 4 days/week at 7800 Crescent Executive Drive, Charlotte, NC (1 day remote)

  • Must be willing to work on-site in Charlotte
