Full job description
Our client, an industry leader in tree care, recycling equipment and waste wood processing, is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production and operational activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: General Laborer
Location: Winn, MI
Pay Range: Starting at $14.92 to $17.53 (depending on department and experience)

Machine Operators: Operate manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, press brakes, saws, lasers, and other production equipment.

Machine operation experience REQUIRED
-
Material Handlers: Load, unload, move, organize, and store materials throughout production areas.

Forklift experience REQUIRED
-
Painters: Prepare surfaces and apply coatings, paints, or sprays according to company standards.

Paint experience REQUIRED
-
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, prints, schematics, and product specifications.

Inspect parts and finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED, REQUIRED

Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions

Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals

Ability to read and use tape measures and basic measuring instruments

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
